This book is heartwarming and funny but also deep and delves into some of the things fat girls have to put up with, even though we shouldn't. As a bigger girl myself I'm always looking for positive representation that doesn't shy away from truth and the darker times. Bethany Rutter really delves into this book head on and provides such a positive message that is so important. Society today needs so much more of this.

Hi guys! I know it's been a while since my last post but, I decided to take a short hiatus and work on upcoming content. I thought it best to take a step back here to get on top of other things since I've been really busy lately. There is honestly not enough time in a day to split between everything I've been wanting to do but I think I've finally worked out a schedule that will work for me. This book is incredible! The Flatshare is a breath of fresh air for the romance and contemporary genre's! I adored the way in which the two main characters have insanely realistic traits, both positive and negative and how they together were completely different people but complimented each other extremely well. And first and foremost this is a fantastic slow burn romance!

This book has one of the most eerie but beautiful atmospheres I’ve ever come across while reading. It kind of reminded me of Sawkill Girls and The Raven Boys with a hint of Stranger Things. Oh and the town this is set in and some of the “political” elements gave me Vampire Diaries vibes, it basically reminded me of everything I LOVE but I didn’t love it just because of that. It was a fresh take on those things with its own back bone, I was very surprised by several plot points and I’m not easily surprised. Every element of the stor...
